Alan Walker, faculty member of Lake Forest Graduate School of Management's Center for Leadership, is a digital transformation thought leader, strategist and implementer. In his 30 years providing advisory, consulting and transformation delivery services to top tier companies around the world, Alan has helped deliver both growth and operational improvement, with a particular emphasis on transforming insurance company distribution, underwriting, claims and operations.

Alan set up his independent consultancy / interim executive firm in July 2019. Prior to that he was an Insurance Consulting Partner with Ernst & Young and an Executive Vice President of Capgemini Invent.

Areas of particular interest to Alan include applied strategy and business transformation, especially digital transformation; change management; finance; accounting; and financial management.

Alan has spoken at national and international conferences. He has also designed and delivered multiple training courses, covering subjects including Business Writing, Finance for NonFinancial Managers, and Business Innovation and Transformation.

Alan, a chartered accountant, holds degrees in law from the Universities of Bristol and Oxford.
