Cindy Volker is the Vice President of Product Strategy for marketing and regulatory communications with Broadridge’s Mutual Fund and Retirement business. In this role, she leads a team of experts who work with leading retirement providers to help them develop best-in-class digital marketing and regulatory experiences for their plan participants, advisors and sponsors.

Cindy has over 20 years of financial marketing experience and is a leading expert on marketing and regulatory trends in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Broadridge, Cindy held similar roles in strategy, digital marketing, business transformation and benefits management positions with fortune 500 firms. Cindy is a frequent author, speaker and contributor to industry associations on the topic of digital transformation, customer experience design and regulatory strategy in financial firms.

Thomas Farias

Tom Farias is Assistant Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for Empower Retirement. In his role, he is responsible for Retirement Solutions Group service adoption across all market segments — large, mega, not-for-profit and government — and for maintaining institutional, broker-dealer and advisor relationships across the organization.

Tom joined the organization in 2008. He has also served in leadership roles at Putnam Investments, Mercer and Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Company. Tom holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and business administration from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. He currently maintains the FINRA Series 6 securities registration and the Series 63 state securities license and holds life and variable annuity licenses.

Jason Colin Patrick

Jason is the Principal of Fiduciary Advisors, LLC. Jason specializes in advisory services for 401(k)s, 403(b)s, defined benefit plans, nonqualified deferred compensation programs and executive and key employee insurance solutions. 

Prior to founding Fiduciary Advisors in 2013, Jason spent 10 years with a National consulting and advisory firm where he headed up the firm’s West Coast retirement practice.

Jason retains his Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination) and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law Examination) licenses and holds the Certified 401(k) Professional® designation by The Retirement Advisor University (“TRAU”) in collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education. He earned his B.S. degree in Business Finance and also retains an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Certified Plan Fiduciary Adviser designation. In 2017, he was named by the National Association of Plan Advisors as one of the Nation’s Top 75 Advisors Under 40, and in 2019 and once again in 2020, he was recognized by the National Association of Plan Advisors as one of the Nation’s Top 100 Advisors Under 40. In 2019 and 2020, the Financial Times also named Jason one of the 401 Top Retirement Advisors in the Nation. Since 2015, Jason has represented the firm’s clients and the retirement industry on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., to discuss retirement and tax reform, industry trends, employer retirement plans, the fiduciary definition rule, transactional taxes, the SECURE Act and most recently, the CARES Act and COVID related retirement legislation. Aside from running Fiduciary Advisors, in Jason’s free time, he bikes, kayaks and runs throughout Newport Beach. He enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. He supports various charities, to include the National Stroke Association/American Heart Association, Orange County Rescue Mission, Thomas House, Isaiah House, The City of Hope, Canine Companions for Independence and the Insuring the Children Foundation. In his past, he has coached a high school JV Lacrosse team and briefly played within Boise State’s Lacrosse program.

Lisa started her career in qualified retirement plan consulting and administration with Markley Actuarial Services, Inc. in 1989 and has over 30 years of experience in qualified retirement plan consulting and administration. Based on her expertise in Defined Contribution Plan services and motivation to positively impact the business culture and operations of Markley Actuarial, Lisa served as a Partner of the frim from 2004 to 2018. As of March 2018, Markley Actuarial Services, Inc. became a division of The Retirement Advantage, Inc. Lisa’s current roles is concentrated on the growth and development of the sales and distribution functions of the firm. Lisa began her career with Educators Mutual Life Insurance Company and held a part time bank teller position at Fulton Bank during her college years.
