How Empowering Families Harnesses DEI in the Workplace

Recorded On: 05/24/2023

Since 2012, the 1st Sunday of May has marked the annual celebration of the International Family Equality Day (IFED), focusing on the importance of equality and family diversity. This year’s IFED motto is “Power Up Families,” intended to support individuals from all different family dynamics-including in the workplace.

Nicsa's Diversity Project North America hosted a webinar with industry professionals to raise awareness of the evolution of the family dynamic and how organizations can support their employees. Now more than ever, organizations are shifting work cultures and enhancing policies recognizing that employees’ individual needs vary.

Employees who feel supported in balancing work and family responsibilities can be more present and productive at work. Hear about how family-friendly benefits and inclusive policies can help reduce stress, promote wellbeing, and increase employee retention.
