Welcome and Opening Remarks and General Session: All Together Now

Justin is a Partner at PwC, where he leads the firm’s global People Analytics capability and serves clients as part of the Organization & Workforce Transformation practice. He has over 16 years’ experience advising executives on the topics of workforce strategy, planning, analytics, and transformation; organizational effectiveness; and HR transformation. He also brings an HR practitioner’s lens from his time as SVP of HR at SunTrust Bank, where he established and led the bank’s Workforce Strategy & Transformation team. Recently, Justin has been helping clients on the topics of Return to the Workplace and the Office of the Future.

Justin studied Economics and Computer Science at Cornell University. He is certified in Strategic Workforce Planning by the Human Capital Institute and in People Analytics by the Wharton School.

Stephen Jones is the Global Head of Corporate Services at Dimensional Fund Advisors.  In this role, he is responsible for the firm’s real estate and facilities across 14 offices.  He also leads the hospitality and events efforts to continually provide exceptional client and employee experiences.  In addition, Stephen oversees the firm’s virtual presence through Dimensional Studios and broadcast facilities across the firm.   Stephen often speaks on real estate and facility issues to help advisors develop effective strategies for their firms.

Stephen brings a deep background in hospitality, real estate, and construction to his role.  Prior to joining Dimensional, he led the development and daily operations of several resorts, hotels, and condominium projects throughout the United States. Stephen graduated from Purdue University with a BS in hospitality.

Victoria McGowan has 30 years of industry experience.  She was hired by BNY Mellon in January, 2016.  In her role as Global Head of Fund Administration and the bank’s Global Risk Solutions operation, she is responsible for approximately 1200 employees globally.  The lines of business include Financial Reporting, Tax Services, US Regulatory Administration, Compliance Services, Performance and Attribution and Regulatory Reporting across several jurisdictions.

Prior to BNY Mellon, Victoria was a Senior Vice President at State Street Bank where she had responsibility for Financial Reporting, Treasury and Compliance Services.  Victoria went to State Street Bank through the acquisition of IBT back in 2007.  At IBT, she was a Senior Director responsible for managing the Reporting & Compliance group.  She was at State Street (including her time with IBT) for 13 years.  Prior to State Street, Victoria worked at MFS Investment Management for 12 years in the Fund Treasury Division, an area responsible for the Fund Administration of the MFS funds. 

Victoria has a Bachelor degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA and a Masters of Business Administration from Bentley University in Waltham, MA.

As Deputy Head of Global Human Resources, Stacey Winning is responsible for ensuring Dimensional has the right talent in place to best serve clients now and in the future. To achieve this end, she develops recruitment strategies to attract, evaluate, and hire top candidates of all skill levels and backgrounds, and oversees the effort to onboard these new hires for optimal immersion in the firm. She also leads the talent development function to guide training, performance evaluation, and succession efforts, and directs enterprise initiatives geared toward increasing employee engagement, productivity, and retention. Stacey also speaks on human capital issues to help advisors develop effective staffing and talent development strategies for their firms.

In addition, Stacey drives the firm’s efforts to continue broadening its reach and fostering a diverse, inclusive work environment. She serves as Chair of Dimensional’s Diversity and Inclusion Executive Council, composed of senior leaders across the firm and charged with assessing the firm’s needs, examining best practices, and implementing effective strategies.

Stacey brings a deep background in recruiting and a broad scope of industry knowledge to her role. Prior to joining Dimensional in 2012, she was co-head of recruiting for Two Sigma Investments, a quantitative investment firm based in New York City. Previously, Stacey led a recruiting team at Macquarie for campus and experienced hiring for investment banking and private equity. She also held recruiting roles at Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers. Stacey graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor of arts and holds a master of arts from the University of Texas at Austin.
