Attending the Course

What is the format of the course?

This is a three-month program composed of seven 3-hour classes, two facilitated pods, four group breakouts, individual learning tools, a written examination and Nicsa certification. The classes and breakouts will be conducted over Zoom. View the dates and further details here.

What is the cost?

This pilot program is being offered at an introductory rate of $3600 per member.

How do I attend the modules/sessions?

Each module will be hosted in a private Zoom conference meeting. Due to the high level of engagement in this course, we expect all students to be on camera and fully participatory during the modules. Please make sure you have access to Zoom before the start of the course.

Additionally, there will be self-directed pods (group break outs), where the cohort is broken out into groups and meet on their own time. These pods will be set up offline using the virtual meeting platform of choice as determined by the peer group.

When do the Self-Directed Pods meet?

There will be four self-directed pods in between Modules 2-5. It is up to the peer group to determine the best time and way to meet. The only requirement is that the pod meets before the start of the next module. There will be a week in between each module, allowing the pod time to meet.

Will the sessions be recorded?

All sessions will be unrecorded and kept strictly confidential. Given the sensitive nature of this course, and that we encourage students to participate as much as possible, we must create a safe space where people are able to share their experiences and questions.

I registered; how can I add the sessions to my calendar?

From learn.nicsa.org/accelerator go to Program Agenda. Under each Module is a button labeled “Attend Class.” From there, you can click the yellow “Add to Calendar” button to the right of the "Contents" tab.
